PROJECT WILD THING: A FREE FILM SCREENING AND DISCUSSION WITH THE NATURE MUSEUM AT GRAFTON

In celebration of 25 years of operation, The Nature Museum at Grafton would like to thank the community with a free film screening and discussion of Project Wild Thing on Wednesday, October 22. Described as "a gripping story of the desperate struggle to lead our computer-crazed children back to nature" by The Daily Telegraph, this 2014 film is a collaboration of The Wild Network and Green Lions. Following filmmaker and father David Bond, “Project Wild Thing is a film led movement to get more kids (and their folks!) outside and reconnecting with nature. The film is an ambitious, feature-length documentary that takes a funny and revealing look at a complex issue, the increasingly disparate connection between children and nature.”

The free screening will take place on Wednesday, October 22nd at the News Bank Conference Center at 352 Main Street, Chester, VT. Doors open at 6:30, and the film will begin at 7 PM. Bob Engel, Marlboro College Professor Emeritus of Biology and Environmental Science, will moderate the evening's screening and discussion.

Join The Nature Museum for birthday cake, the screening, and an open discussion following the film. This is a two-hour film, appropriate for older children and adults. Visit www.nature-museum.org for more information on the screening.
