Managing Invasive Plants, Hands-On Event - Arlington

Gardens at Yellow Barn Farm in Arlington is offering a 'hands-on' one hour primer on how to manage invasive honeysuckle, burning bush and garlic mustard on Sunday, April 28, 2-3 pm.

UVM Extension Master Gardener Project Leader, Dottie Sundquist, will demo a tool which makes the chore easier and more rewarding.

Learn how to identify these invasive species and how to properly manage them. Wear footwear for walking in the woods. Loppers, pruning shears and/or a trowel are handy but not necessary. Tick repellent highly encouraged. BRING GLOVES! Parking is adjacent to the woods - Very short distance and flat.
No restrooms.

Turn left onto Route 313 West, in front of the Arlington Inn. Cross over the Battenkill River and turn right at the Yellow Barn. Parking adjacent to the barn.
