Round Church Summer Concert Series

The Richmond Historical Society will once again be hosting a summer concert series in the Old Round Church featuring two local bands.

The first concert with headliners Forest Station, will be held on June 1st at 7 PM. Admission will be by donation.
Any profits realized from the concert will go toward maintenance of the Old Round Church and/or projects of the Richmond Historical Society helping to preserve Richmond's History.

Forest Station is a Vermont-based bluegrass group born in the Rocky Mountains and realized in the Greens. Its blend of high energy, tight pockets, and just enough improvisational grease will scratch your itch for real, honest bluegrass. Throughout the years, they have formed a communicative musical bond that has resulted in innovative string music spanning the traditional ideal and pushing a unique style into unknown territory. Their Debut album, "Earth Tones" was released in April and is an ode to their Western roots; steeped in the mountain ranges, landscapes, and forests that surround them. It's evident in their songwriting that they have a deep appreciation for the natural world and the traditions of bluegrass music.
