The Young Tradition Festival celebrates young artists and multi-generational relationships in diverse traditional music and dance communities while providing opportunities for youth, families, and the greater community to immerse themselves in several types of traditional music and dance.

This year's festival takes place May 10-12 in Burlington, and features concerts from Shyam Nepali's Himalayan Dreams, Genticorum and the Young Tradition Touring Group at Contois Auditorium, a Student/Mentor Showcase at the Burlington Farmers Market, and a family-friend jam and contra dance.
