Plant Sale

Past event
Apr 20 to 22, 2024

So many plants to choose from in my 40 year old collection & all at 1/2 price or below! (Hint; Mother's Day is coming!)

Here are many of them; Flowering & Scented Geraniums, pots & hanging baskets of large-flowered Jungle cactus (red, fuschia & "sunset" colors, Holiday Cactus, (Christmas, Easter, etc.), some bi-colored or unusual hues! Also available, several pots of Clivia, which will soon have clusters of big, orange, trumpet-shaped flowers, on a broad stalk. The parent plants can follow their direct lineage back to the Civil War!

Several forms of begonias, (with red, on the back of their leaves, indicating they can handle lower light) than some. Both varieties have colorfully unusual leaves; "Whirly Twirly" & "Splish-Splash", also have beautiful flowers. A tall, high-light, "Cane" begonia, bears pink to almost red flowers, depending on light!

One of the lesser known, but fabulous plants, is Papyrus, from Egypt, from which paper was first made. This exotic plant, in it's black nursery pot, can be placed in a large, decorative vase or bucket, which holds water. It summers outside & then adds humidity to your home, in winter.

I have so many different varieties of succulents, that I won't list them, but they come in strange & interesting shapes, colors & sizes. I've also got rooted cutting for $1 each. Anyone spending $15+, can have a free lemon-scented geranium, while they last.

The very low prices are partly because most of the plants will need re-potting & all my time is booked. I can supply plastic pots & give you advice about potting soil & the specific needs of each plant. If you have plastic bags & boxes that could cover the plants if it's below 60 degrees, they will stay safe & won't be jostled on the way home.

This week the sale will be held tomorrow, Friday - Sunday 10-4 & Monday, by appointment. I will update, here, whether any plants are left for a 2nd round of sales, next week.
