This weekend I will be having my last Pottery Open Studio before moving. I'll post here again if I do one the following weekend. I am always available by appointment or chance. Please come on by before I start packing things up. Thanks!
Saturday, Apr 20, 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday, Apr 21, 2024, 10 AM to 4 PM
Where: 19 Garen Road, Charlotte, VT
I am soon going to be moving and still have a large selection of pottery available for sale at 19 Garen Road in Charlotte. I will definitely be in the studio this coming Saturday and Sunday but if you can't make it then I'm always open by appointment or chance. I really appreciate your support. Please call/text (802) 999-7992, or email me if you need directions or more information. My studio is unheated so you might want to keep your jacket on when you come in!
My pottery can be found in The British Museum, the Crocker Art Museum, and many private collections.
I began a 20-year-long career as a studio potter in Boston in the 1980s. I studied ceramics at the Radcliffe Pottery Studio in Somerville, MA, and traveled extensively throughout Asia studying ceramics in China, Korea, Japan and Thailand. I was an artist-in-residence in Calhoun College at Yale University and director of the ceramics program at Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, Connecticut. In 1993 I established my pottery in Charlotte, Vermont. I have served on the board of directors for the Vermont Crafts Council, The Ferrisburgh Artisans Guild, and the Shelburne Art Center. I will also have photographs for sale. I hope you can make it. And remember some of this work is priced to move!
