Please join VGS at the Hinesburg Town Hall at 6pm on April, 29th, to talk about community geothermal.
VGS (Vermont Gas Systems) was recently awarded funding from the Department of Energy to explore the potential for community geothermal systems in Vermont. While we know community geothermal systems are an excellent way to deliver decarbonized heating and cooling to homes and businesses, we need your help in determining how these systems can be designed and implemented to best serve the people in Hinesburg.
This meeting is an opportunity for us to share information on community geothermal systems, answer your questions, and gather your concerns and guidance around community geothermal. It will be led by Morgan Hodd, VGS Manager of Innovative Products and Services.
Your feedback will inform the design and potential implementation of community geothermal systems both in Hinesburg and nationally.
We want to hear what you have to say about:
• Your experiences or perceptions of geothermal and community geothermal projects
• Opportunities and challenges for deploying community geothermal affordably and equitably in Hinesburg
