I'm re-posting from the other day with an important date change. Due to voting in Town Hall for the school budget on the original date, we're moving the Charlotte Democratic Caucus one day forward. DON'T FORGET to vote on Tuesday! And then on Wednesday, come caucus with me.
Hi Charlotte Democrats
At our town caucus meeting next week on Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, we will choose Charlotte's five delegates to attend the State Democratic Convention. Even if you're not an official member of the town committee, you're welcome to join. All Democrats are welcome!
This convention takes place on May 18, and at that convention, the five delegates will be part of the group who vote to elect 11 district-level delegates who will represent Vermont at the Democratic National Convention this year.
Even if you've never participated in a Charlotte Democrat event before, I encourage you to attend--it's fun to be involved anyway, and it's an election year, which makes it even more exciting. It would be so great to see some new faces and see if we can get a diverse and engaged group off to the state convention.
