Tonight is the night for a wonderful concert of the Champlain Philharmonic Orchestra!

Tickets are available at the door to hear some spectacular live music of a full orchestra, piano, organ... and some surprise instruments, too.

"In the Key of Spring" will begin at 7:30 PM tonight, Saturday, April 6 for an hour-long concert featuring the spectacular Organ Symphony #3 in C Minor by Camille Saint Saëns and two humorous short pieces; one by the infamous "de-composer" PDQ Bach, aka Peter Schickele, (complete with kazoos!) and the other featuring Vermont pianist and composer, David Feurzeig with his ragtime arrangement for orchestra of Stravinski's Rite of Spring.

This concert demonstrates not only how fun and entertaining classical music can be, but also showcase some of the most powerful and exhilarating music written that promises to be just as breathtaking and stratospheric as the eclipse itself!

So come hear many of your neighbors and friends playing in this local orchestra that is celebrating 20 years performances in and for our community. If you can't make tonight's concert, it will be performed again tomorrow, Sunday, April 7th at 4:00 at Grace Congregational Church in Rutland.

Middlebury being in the "Path of Totality" has lots of visitors in and around town, so don't miss out hearing this great concert tonight at 7:30 at the Middlebury Congregational Church.

Tickets are still available for advance purchase or at the door. All the information is listed on the website: www.champlainphilharmonic.org
