Join us Monday, April 15 at 5:30 PM at the Craftsbury Public Library for a discussion on financial equity with State Treasurer Mike Pieciak!
The forum will delve into the Treasurer's Office's initiatives including:
- VT Saves, the office's public retirement initiative which earned unanimous support from
the legislature last year;
- The Treasurer's 10% in VT Local Investment Program, which recently allocated $55
million towards new housing construction in Vermont;
- The innovative Baby Bonds Proposal put forth by the Treasurer to support rural
economic development, address generational poverty, and help our state retain young
people.
Treasurer Pieciak will also provide an update on his Office's efforts to support climate
infrastructure financing, weatherization, and resiliency.
The event is open to the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
