Protect Our Wildlife and Humane Society of the United States is excited to announce our upcoming event in Montpelier on Saturday April 13th!
Space is limited so please RSVP to info@protectourwildlifevt.org by Thursday April 11 for event details and to secure a seat! You can attend one or both presentations. Refreshments will be served.
Protecting Your Pets from Traps (10 a.m. - 11 a.m.)
Traps set for wildlife can be very difficult to detect, posing real threats for companion animals in the area. Many pet owners would not recognize these devices or know how to remove their pets from them if they were caught. This workshop will cover what traps set for wildlife look like, where to expect to find them, and how to safely remove pets from traps.
Solving Conflicts with Wildlife (11 a.m.-12 p.m.)
Urban and suburban areas provide great habitat for many species of wildlife, but that doesn't mean that we need to be in conflict with our wild neighbors. This workshop will present our top tips to help you prevent potential wildlife problems before they occur, as well as solutions for common conflicts with species such as coyotes, raccoons, skunks, rodents and more!
