Dear Neighbors,

As we have gone directly at the big challenges that have defined my time as Mayor, my perspective was always informed by what was on the minds of Burlingtonians.

One of the things that I will miss most when this job is done is my weekly coffee and a bagel – sunflower seed with a slice of tomato – with dozens of neighbors in the New North End. We have had more than 500 of these weekly talks, but just about every week still there is a constituent who comes for the first time, and I never leave without learning something new.

I hope you will join us for an extra special final Mornings With Miro at the Bagel Cafe this Wednesday 8 am.

I would love to see you, and see if I can help you tackle a few more issues over my final days as Mayor.
