BETTER BETHEL VILLAGE SIGNS AND MAPS PUBLIC DISCUSSION
Do you want to see better signage and information in downtown Bethel? Wish it was easier to find our parks, trails, and community facilities? Want more accessible trails and recreation? All of these are in the works – and we need your help.
"Wayfinding" signage and access to recreation were top priorities for community members in the recent Bethel for All Village Accessibility Plan. Now, Bethel has a $330,000 grant to build and improve accessible trails and design better signage.
What should our new signage look like, and where should it go? You tell us. What's happening with parks and trails? We'll fill you in.
Join a community workshop and info session next Tuesday, April 2, at 6 PM at the Bethel Town Hall to learn more about what wayfinding is and why it's important, see examples, and share your ideas.
Tripp Muldrow from Arnett Muldrow will lead the roundtables and share info on wayfinding signage and preliminary ideas. They will gather input on the plan and design. Arnett Muldrow has completed wayfinding plans for many communities in Vermont and across the country. This project is funded by Bethel's Vermont Outdoor Recreation Economic Collaborative (VOREC) Grant.
