When: April 10th, 2024, 7pm
Where: Carpenter-Carse Library, Hinesburg
Please join us to discuss the complex and fascinating world of beavers and how they have shaped our culture and landscape, as described in Leila Philip's New York Times bestseller, Beaverland. Allaire Diamond (Vermont Land Trust) and Liz Doran (Hinesburg Conservation Commission and UVM Professor of Environmental Engineering) will be there to talk about the book and how it relates to current watershed restoration work happening in Vermont and how it helps us be more resilient to flooding and climate change.
April 10th at 7pm at the Carpenter-Carse Library in Hinesburg. Light refreshments will be served!
This discussion is co-sponsored by the Hinesburg Conservation Commission, Vermont Land Trust, and Carpenter-Carse Library.
Copies may be available at the Library - please stop in to get one!
This discussion will get you ready to attend Leila Philip's April 18th visit to the Pierson Library. Please see additional information about that talk here: https://vlt.org/events/an-evening-with-beaverland-author-leila-philip/
