Hey, Lakeside community!
Please join us for Totality, Hula's celebration of the total solar eclipse!
On Sunday, April 7th, retired NASA aerospace engineer, Dr. Jack Bacon will enlighten us with an in-depth exploration of the science, mechanics, and sheer awe-inspiring nature of solar eclipses.
On Monday, April 8th, outdoor activities on the Hula campus will include local food, drinks, and music. We're offering a unique method to observe the event while being narrated by Dr. Bacon himself.
We're anticipating that the exceptional lakeside neighborhood energy that has been brought in the past has helped make our community events vibrant. We hope to see you there!

We are also excited to announce that Hula is collaborating with Astronauts without Borders (AWB) to become an official drop-off location for used eclipse glasses. AWB, an organization dedicated to ensuring safe eclipse viewing for all, has assisted in distributing glasses to individuals who may not have had access to them otherwise. By bringing your used eclipse glasses to Hula, you can contribute to their recycling efforts and help minimize waste associated with these events.
Lastly, we are so grateful for the support and partnership with Seven Days, SEABA, and WCAX in helping make this event possible!
