Please join us at the Starksboro Public Library tomorrow, Saturday March 9 from 1-3pm for a presentation on the upcoming total eclipse in April. Members of the Vermont Astronomical Society will discuss safe viewing and what to expect from this once in a lifetime event. There will be a slide show, demonstrations and outdoor instructions to help us all be ready. Past president of VAS, Gary Nowak has "chased" the special totality in the past and will share his experiences. Refreshments will be served and commemorative t-shirts will be on sale to benefit the fire department.
Please park behind the Starksboro town office just north of the library building. Our residential neighbors will appreciate it!
