Green Mountain Power should not be allowed a license renewal unless they are made to guarantee that the release of water from the dam conforms with water quality standards and not fluctuate between a trickle and a flood. They obviously don't know how to operate this facility. Their negligence seems to have resulted in the death by drowning of Daniel Forsey in August 2011. I can only hope that the State of Vermont will hold them to the strictest of regulations and if they stray should be heavily fined since they put the dollar ahead of human life.
