On Wednesday, March 20, the Town is hosting a community information meeting about the Town plan for the Total Solar Eclipse. The Total Solar Eclipse is on Monday, April 8th at 3:26pm. The Town is not planning at events the day-of, but is prepared for an influx of visitors likened to a busy foliage weekend. We will have portopotties around town, additional trash and recycling, and will be suggesting parking locations for visitors. The Town has also purchased a world map for visitors to pin their hometown!

There are free eclipse glasses at the town offices as well as "no parking signs" for residents by request (klisaius@waterburyvt.com).
