Pie, pie! Me oh my! The Church of the Good Shepherd, those people who are famous for fun and delicious themed dinners, are at it again! This time they are putting together a farm-to-table dinner to benefit flood relief efforts in Central Vermont.
Here are the details: Take-out meals will be available for pick-up between 4:30-6:30 pm. Dine-in meals will be served from 5:00-7:00 pm. The cost is $20.00 per meal. Kids under 12 eat for free.
Menu options include a dinner roll, salad and a slice of pie. The main courses are a choice of Shepherd's Pie (Gluten Free), Vegetable Tourtiere or Vegetable Tourtiere (VEGAN). There is also a Kid's option for each meal choice for those under 12.
Also, plan for Pi Day (3/14) now! Order a whole pie and it will be ready for you to pick up on March 2nd. All you will need to do is reheat it. Choices are blueberry, raspberry, cherry and apple. Whole pies are $25.
Cash and checks made out to the church will be accepted at the door. Advance payment through debit or credit card can be made through VENMO @goodshepbarrevt If you are unable to join for the meal but would like to donate, please feel free to do so.
This event is possible because of the generosity of the folks from Bear Roots Farm, Ben and Jerry's, Cabot Creamery, Lenny's, Red Hen Baking Co., The Wayside, and many more, plus the helping hands of very talented volunteers.
