Join Friends of the Mad River for a guided snowshoe trek with a Mad River Glen naturalist as we learn about the ecology and wildlife that call Stark Mountain home! While the trek will focus on bear signs and understanding bear hibernation, we'll learn more generally about the mountain forest and all its inhabitants.
This event is hosted on Mad River Glen property, and through the support of the the Mad River Valley Rotary Club, we will be covering the entry cost for all participants. Register here to guarantee your spot: https://www.friendsofthemadriver.org/news/february-expert-series-bear-signs-snowshoe-walk and reach out to me with any questions.
We'd like this to be accessible to everyone, so indicate in your RSVP if you need assistance in paying the $15 discounted snowshoe rental cost as we have funds to help with that as well!
