The South Hero Historical Society is fortunate to welcome Charlie Farrell, Grand Isle Social Studies teacher and researcher of Vermont schoolhouses, as guest speaker for our October 3rd meeting, starting at 7PM at the Folsom School. He will illustrate the evolution of schools by showcasing the schools that once served the town of South Hero. He will also share stories about unique school buildings in VT and show examples of how we have repurposed these historical buildings.

We will also have a short annual meeting prior to Charlie's talk. Vice-President, Secretary, and a trustee are up for election. This is the start of our third year so membership dues of $10 may also be paid.
