The Friends of Calais is happy to sponsor our first Curious Calais Nature Walks - Join in on February 1st at 7:00 AM for this first Curious Calais Nature Walk. We will meet at the Chickering Bog parking lot on George road. This walk requires microspikes, and gear appropriate for being outside for up to 1.5 hours. Tom Cronin will be hosting this month's walk.

As a result of your feedback in the Friends of Calais community survey, we are excited to bring you an opportunity for community members to convene outside together in our beautiful town of Calais. These walks will be hosted monthly at different trails around Calais by different volunteers. These walks are intended to encourage curiosity outdoors. There is no specific focus or prior knowledge required. We will share what we are noticing, the questions we have, and resources available to try and find an answer.
