Join Audubon Vermont in welcoming back mycologist Meg Madden, for a presentation of her favorite photography subject – mushrooms! Meg has spent the past two years documenting the fantastic fungi of the Green Mountain Audubon Center. Meg will share intimate "snail's-eye-view" portraits of these ecologically essential, yet often-overlooked organisms, along with fascinating facts about some of her favorite fungal finds.
About Met: Meg Madden is a renowned mushroom photographer, accomplished author, community science advocate, and mycology educator. Inspired by the belief that people are more likely to take care of something they love, she finds great joy in facilitating fun and meaningful connections between humans and nature, especially fungi!
