Chamber Music Stowe Begins a Harmonious Mission in the Heart of Vermont!

Chamber Music Stowe announces a concert initiative heralding a new era of musical excellence in the idyllic town of Stowe, Vermont. We are thrilled to unveil this transformative series promising to elevate the cultural landscape of our Stowe community. There is no better time to champion the spirit of collaboration fostered by this musical genre.

Longtime residents of Stowe, the Stark family is sponsoring the Chamber Music series along with Walter Frame and the Trapp Family Lodge, with cellist Jia Kim as the Artistic Director. Ms. Kim initially performed in Stowe with Itzhak Perlman thirteen years ago as a student of the Perlman Music Program. She fell in love with our idyllic town in the mountains and has long sought to present a regular music series in partnership with the Stark family foundation.

Building on her experience as a teacher and performer, Jia Kim will curate and participate in this Chamber Music Concert series to captivate both old and new audiences with various young musicians skilled at presenting works from the chamber music repertoire.

Chamber Music Stowe is committed to fostering a vibrant musical community, uniting world-class young musicians with the discerning and appreciative audience that defines our picturesque town. Outreach to the broader musical community will expand as the series matures and takes root.

As we embark on this exciting venture, Chamber Music Stowe extends a warm invitation to music lovers, patrons, and the entire Stowe community with our inaugural free admission concert at the Trapp Family Lodge, Mozart Room, on Sunday, February 18th beginning at 6pm. Musicians Siwoo Kim and Euntaek Kim, both well known to Stowe music lovers from past appearances, will perform in this initial concert with Ms. Kim at the Trapp Family Lodge.
