The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC), the region's transportation and land use planning and policy organization, is seeking public input on planning ideas and projects for its annual work program (effective July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025). The public is invited to help develop new transportation, energy, and land use planning projects that improve safety and enhance mobility for all users of the transportation system, address climate change, and support our vibrant downtowns, villages and growth centers in Chittenden County.
The CCRPC encourages you to coordinate your ideas with your municipality since most projects require local funding and support. Note that the CCRPC's planning funds cannot be used for design or construction of projects, but planning is the first step that moves projects closer to reality.
HOW TO SHARE YOUR IDEAS
A public forum is scheduled as part of the CCRPC's regular Board meeting on Wednesday, January 17 at 6:00pm via Zoom. Comments will also be accepted until Friday, January 20 via email (mdistel@ccrpcvt.org). For meeting information and the Zoom link, visit https://www.ccrpcvt.org/about-us/commission/agendas-minutes/.
