Who said that paper is just for drawing and writing? Learn how to do various paper arts and craft projects in this series of classes, with each weekly session focusing on a different technique. Possibilities include origami, 3D cardboard sculpture, pop up cards, silhouette art, hand sewing on paper, paper mache masks, wet-on-wet painting to create lanterns, and more.
The workshop, to be led by instructor Sarah Spletzer, will be held every Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Cabot School art room, beginning Jan. 9 and continuing through Feb. 20. This intergenerational program is open to any Cabot resident in grade 2 or above, though children in elementary school should participate with an adult.
Advance registration is required, and we recommend registering as soon as possible. However, because space is limited to 12 participants, we ask that you sign up only if you expect to be able to attend all the sessions. To register, please use this form here:
