Have you always wanted to learn how to cross-country ski but never tried? Or perhaps you tried skiing a few times, loved the experience, but don't have the needed equipment? Would you like a new multi-generational family outdoor adventure?
Come to the Hardwick Trails (log cabin behind Hazen Union School) Saturday morning at 9:00 to be fully outfitted with boots, skis and poles. Then join a 30 - 60 min. beginner classic ski lesson and begin to experience the joy of this sport on the flat groomed trails around Hazen or ski the gorgeous trails in the woods.
Bring your friends and family! Lessons & equipment loans for all sizes, including snowshoes, are free to local residents of all ages. Equipment loans are also available to those not joining in the lessons. Email hardwicktrails@gmail.com for more information, including if you're interested in learning how to skate ski.
Conditions permitting, ski lessons will run Saturday mornings through Saturday, February 15. We will post on the Hardwick Trails Facebook page and Instagram (@hardwicktrails) if they need to be cancelled. See you out there!
