The Vermont Cancer Center with host the 17th Annual Breast Cancer Conference on Friday, October 10th at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington, Vermont. This FREE educational event is open to anyone interested in learning more about breast and women's health.

The conference features more than 80 sessions, including educational presentations about the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer, and information about survivorship. Some highlights this year include a screening panel moderated by Interim Vermont Commissioner of Health Tracy Dolan, an overview of clinical trials and their impact on cancer treatment, and a discussion of medical marijuana in Vermont. The Exhibits Hall will feature more than 50 local businesses and includes activities such as massage therapy, Reiki, and much more.
