As we are hoping Jericho residents are aware, we are in critical need of a new Town Maintenance Facility. This fall, Ascent Consulting LLC provided the Jericho Select Board with a feasibility study indicating need, and provided preliminary design and cost estimate for a new facility. If you have never been to the Town Garage or are unaware of the structural challenges our current facility presents, please plan to come by and get a tour from the people most intimately familiar--our road crew! Everyone is cordially invited to our first of two open house opportunities that we'll be hosting to highlight existing conditions. It will take place this Saturday, December 16th from 1-3pm.

We'll be serving holiday refreshments, information on the newly proposed facility, providing tours of the current building and road maintenance equipment. I will be there with representatives of the Select Board to answer questions and provide background on the project-- and bond vote that will be appearing as ballot item looking to Town Meeting on March. We hope you are able to interrupt your busy pre-holiday schedules, to drop in for warm cider, hot chocolate and cookie or two!

Please let us know you are coming by RSVP'ing Asst. Town Administrator, Paula Carrier at pcarrier@jerichovt.gov. As weather may determine ability to have staff and vehicles there, its helpful to know who is coming in case there is a need to postpone.
