In light of the recent increase in gun violence in Vermont, and the incident at Hinesburg Community School, Moms Demand Action volunteers invite mothers and others to learn actionable steps to keeping our community safe from gun violence. BeSMART is a program that raises awareness for secure firearm storage. We all want to keep our families and communities safe, and the BeSMART program provides actionable steps to ensure that both gun owners and non-gun owners understand the importance of securely stored firearms. If you want to learn more about what we, as adults, can do to help protect our children, please join at the Carpenter Carse Library this Friday
