You are invited to join Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier for a staged reading of beloved Vermont author and playwright, David Budbill's "Two for Christmas". This is not your average Christmas play! (Hint: Vermont woodcutters and a chainsaw are prominent features!)
Come to the theater or watch via live stream!
In Act 1, travel back in time to 1479 England in a wonderful translation of a 15th century miracle play - and end up in Budbill's imaginary Vermont town, Judevine, with beloved characters Antoine, Doug, Arnie and Tommy in Act 2. This play is filled with grit, humor, and the spirit of the nativity. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll never sing "We Three Kings" in the same way again.
Appropriate for the whole family.
