The River of Light Lantern Parade is Saturday, December 2nd at 5:00 pm! Don't miss this beloved and enchanting community event - now in its 14th year! Downtown Waterbury will be lit with hundreds of handmade lanterns created by local artists, school children and community members. This year's theme is Toys & Games. The parade leaves from Brookside Primary School at 5:00 pm to Main Street and then Main Street to Dac Rowe Park where you will find hot chocolate and entertainment. Please note that there is no parking in the front lot of the school or on Armory Ave. in the back of the school. Feel free to park in the 3 parking lots behind the school or anywhere downtown that is a designated parking spot. We hope to see you there!
