Come meet Karen Paul, our current City Council President, who is running to be our next mayor of Burlington. Come with questions, issues, or concerns and Karen will be happy to listen and address them. Meet at the UVMMC's Harvest Café (111 Colchester Avenue) on Sunday, Dec 3rd at 9:00 am.

Karen is in her second term as Council President. When she was nominated for this current term, a fellow councilor nominated her by saying "You came into this role a year ago with the unanimous support of our colleagues and I firmly believe you have followed through on the trust that was placed in you a year ago." That a sometime fractious City Council voted for her unanimously says a lot about her ability to listen, bring people together, and get things done.

You can read it on her website. At the top of her website, you can click to register for the December 10 Democratic caucus. The majority of the voting will be done virtually. On the day of the caucus, you will receive an email ballot and the voting will be open for 2 hours.
