There will be a community site walk at the proposed Monkton Town Forest location on Saturday December 9th at 10am. Meeting place: 1554 Hardscrabble Rd, Bristol, VT 05443 - Kaolin pond pull-off on Hardscrabble Road (North of Queen Bee's).

Due to limited parking, it would be great if you could let the Town Forest Committee know if you're planning to attend (townforest@monktonvt.com). If we have more than 10 people sign up, we will offer additional site walk opportunities. Carpooling is encouraged!

Plan on 1.5 – 2 hours total, including short visits to two beaver pond/wetland locations and a longer walk (about an hour) on the western side of the parcel. Dress for the weather : )
