What is Vermont? Is it pure and quiet, or is it a gritty, hardscrabble backwater? How is it viewed from the outside and how do Vermonters view their own state? Join us to explore these topics at our annual meeting and conference Sept 27, 2014 at the Vermont History Museum at 109 State Street in Montpelier. Featuring keynote speaker Jill Mudgett and preliminary findings from Cheryl Morse on the Vermont Roots Migration Project. Amanda Gustin will also present clips from movies and television about how Vermont is characterized by Hollywood. Please register by Sept 19 by calling Amanda Gustin at (802) 828-2180.
