NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Forest Management Plan for Huntington "Old" Town Forest
November 9, 2023, 7:00 PM

Chittenden County Forester Ethan Tapper and the Huntington Conservation Commission will share the new Forest Management Plan for the 100-acre Huntington Town Forest. This "old" town forest, located on the northeastern side of town near Bert White and Stagecoach Roads, is adjacent to Camel's Hump State Forest and includes some of the Camel's Hump Nordic ski trails. Written by Tapper, the Forest Management Plan discusses the condition of the forests and other ecosystems and charts a course for their stewardship over the next 10 years.

The Forest Management Plan is presented in a "StoryMap" format and is easily viewable online at: https://arcg.is/1P8G0z0
