Our 8th annual community fall harvest dinner is scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of November this year--Nov 8th. This is the MAIN fundraiser for the Middlesex Food Shelf and the local foods program at Rumney school. Thanks to this fundraiser, we are able to stock our foodshelf all year and purchase fresh vegetables from Dog River Farm and local grass-fed beef from Templeton Farm for our school food service program. This dinner takes a lot of work to pull off, but many hands really do make light work! Lots of jobs big and small. Meet at Rumney at 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. for a one-time planning meeting this Thursday, Sept 11th. Can't make the meeting but want to contribute to this fantastic community event?
