When the Library celebrated our 100th Anniversary in 2016, we decided to celebrate out community by honoring folks who have had an impact on the Library and our services over the years with two awards to be given annually.
The Spirit of Community Award is given in honor of someone, and the Marrion Hood Legacy Award is given in memory.
Please join us on Saturday, November 11th 1:00-2:00 p.m. to help us honor the 2023 recipients of the awards.
The Spirit of Community Award will honor Diane Szlachetka, President of the Friends of the Lanpher Memorial Library.
The Legacy Award this year will be given in memory of Fran Aronovici.
We will celebrate these two amazing women with a ceremony of thankfulness and gratitude, with time afterward to socialize and share refreshments.
