I'd like to encourage all community members and families in the Orleans Southwest MVU school district to attend a Q&A on January 9th from 6:00-7:30 at Lakeview Elementary school to ask questions regarding the possible reconfiguration within the district. This recommendation is coming from administration and is to be voted on by the board on January 14th at the regular school board meeting. Speaking for myself as a lifelong community member and a recent board member, I am very interested to hear everyone's views on this topic. If you absolutely cannot make the meeting but have questions please feel free to email the board.
