Repairs to torn clothes don't need to be invisible -- they can also be decorative! In this free workshop, Susan Snider will demonstrate techniques for visible mending using patches and embroidery and will assist participants as they mend an item of clothing. Limited to 10 participants; appropriate for teens and adults. Bring a torn item of clothing; you may also wish to bring your own decorative material for patching. Beginners to hand sewing are welcome!
