Many people in town have questions about personal or business taxes, so as part of Good Steward Tax and Finance's goal to become a Benefit Corporation, we are inviting you to participate in our annual tax education.
Mondays - Thursdays at our 1590 Route 7 South office from 12 - 1 we will host a conversation about taxes and tax law based on our annual education requirements and your questions. These talks will be FREE and open to the public. They will include such topics as:
- exactly what is income? (including barter and "under the table")
- Vermont Property Tax Adjustments
- what happens if we get married/divorced/have kids/other dependents
-what do I really need to know to start a small business?
-getting ready for retirement
-ethics in tax preparation
