Hi South End,
Please join neighbors for the third annual Haunted Forest on Sunday 10/29 from 5:30 to 7 in the woods behind Champlain Elementary. It's really magical.
This is an event that is meant for all ages: smaller children may prefer to walk through on the earlier side. All kids get will get a Halloween Treat.
If anyone is interested in volunteering to set up or take part please let me know- we can use more decorations, especially Jack O'Lanterns to line the path (we can borrow Sunday morning and return Monday morning), or people to help haunt, keep kids moving through safely, or hand out treats. The more the merrier. We will be in and out setting up from 3:30 on.
In the case of rain, we will reconvene in 2024.
Just a final note: Champlain Elementary has graciously allowed us to use their forest- this is not a school-affiliated event.
