Connect with Nature Through Your Senses!
Join us for this immersion of yoga, nature and meditation:
River Buffum (meditation instructor, Reiki practitioner) and Kate Greenleaf (yoga instructor, massage therapist) will be leading you for this morning class.
Class will begin with yoga, stretching and breath awareness to open up the joints, play with balance and relax the spine followed by guided mindful walk in nature.
During our forest walk, we'll explore our senses in nature, find moments of solitude and connect more deeply to our surroundings.
Class will end leaving the forest with a brief group meditation to ground our energy as well as our focus for the day ahead.
Inspired by the Japanese technique of Shinrin-Yoku, centuries of mediation traditions, and our own restorative retreats, Nature through your Senses can help to ease anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, stress, and so much more.

This is not a fitness class.
It may be appropriate for some participants to exercise prior to our group meeting, making our meditation and mindfulness a more enjoyable experience.
Dress for the weather, we will be meeting rain or shine.
