Don't let your films decay! Take them to Home Movie Day at the Albany Town Hall on October 21
Do you have a box of old super 8 films in your attic that you are wondering about? Do you have a collection of your grandmother's 16mm films that you can't look at because the projector is broken, or concerned the films are too fragile and old to put on a projector?
Join Film Archivist Mary Albee; Rachel Onuf, Vermont Historical Records Program Director; and Vermont Historical Society Volunteer Fred Pond ready to review your films with you, using film viewers to assess their condition for viewing there and offer guidance on their care and preservation.
Curious? View this video of 2018 Vermont Home Movie Day, Media Factory, Burlington.

Films that have previously been converted to video or DVD formats are welcome (bring the actual film also) to assess for long-term storage and share your home movies!
