The Make Big Oil Pay Community Action Tour is coming to Barre City!

Join us on Thursday, October 12th at 6:00pm at the Old Labor Hall to share your climate stories, learn about a VPIRG's new climate campaign, connect with local activists and leaders (including Rep. Williams, Sen. Perchlik, and Sen. Watson), and take community action to #MakeBigOilPay!

We know that big oil and gas companies, like ExxonMobil and Shell, have a long history of raking in billions of dollars in profits while leaving a path of environmental destruction behind. We believe it's time for Big Oil to pay its fair share to combat the climate crisis – redirecting a portion of profits to create climate solutions through the implementation of a Vermont-based Climate Superfund.
