Collections Corner at Lake Champlain Maritime Museum is a free event that brings rarely-seen and unique artifacts out of the collections for an up-close look and opportunity to explore local history.
This Saturday, October 7 is the Museum's final Collections Corner of 2023 and this one is all about canal boats! Join us in the Visitor Center from 11 am–1 pm to get an up-close look at special artifacts from our collection that tell the history of the canals, canal boats, and their impact on the people of the Champlain Valley. Some of the featured items will include artifacts recovered from the OJ Walker and General Butler canal boat shipwrecks in Lake Champlain.
Free for all to attend! Details: https://www.lcmm.org/event/canal-collections-corner/
