Attention:

This Sunday 10/08/23 Green Mountain Gravel LLC is hosting their Second Annual Gravel Cycling Event. The event will begin at the Recreation Area and head out along the Millstone Hill West Bike Path. At the end of the bike path the route will continue on Graniteville Road exiting the Town of Barre and returning on Lowery Road towards Little John Road. From Little John Road the cycling event will turn onto Brook Street and enter the Town Forest. The event will exit the Town Forest at Barclay Quarry Road and continue on Graniteville Road back to the Millstone Hill West Bike Path and finishing at the Recreation Area.

Notice:

There will be no road closures for this event. Anticipate cyclist on above stated Town roads, the Town Forest, and Millstone Hill West Bike Path alongside normal traffic. Exercise caution around cyclist and share the road. Due to the event there may be high pedestrian/car traffic around the Recreation Area, Bike Path, and Town Forest. Please plan your Sunday accordingly, thank you.
