Come to the Warren Public Library at 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 21, for an evening with two local authors. Mary Kathleen Mehuron and Lee Hall Defausse will be reading from their newest novels, discussing their writing process and answering questions.
Mary Kathleen (known to all in the valley as Kathy) is celebrating the recent launch of her novel, The Belonger, which tells the story of an American woman who becomes a reluctant hero during a category 5 hurricane on a Caribbean island.
Lee will be presenting excerpts from Snow Sanctuary and No Sanctuary Here, two historical fictions that document the adventures of a World Cup ski racer who learns resilience and perseverance in the mountains as well as in college during the protest movements against the Vietnam War.
All are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served.
