The WORDS OUT LOUD reading series for 2023 kicks off with the first of three Sunday afternoon readings a week from today!
Vermont authors SEAN PRENTISS & SCUDDER PARKER will read from their poetry collections.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17
3 O'Clock
OLD WEST CHURCH
758 Old West Church Road
One program of many public events planned in connection with the Art at the Kent exhibit "Traces: Vermont Artists Explore the Elemental," WORDS OUT LOUD: Poetry, Place & the Passage of Time will also include readings from Sarah Audsley & Nadine Budbill (September 24) and from Nadell Fishman & former Poet Laureate of Vermont Sydney Lea (October 1),
PLEASE arrive ahead of 3 O'Clock to allow time for parking and seating at the Old West Church. Reception with light refreshments, book signings, and a chance to meet the presenters will follow the readings down the road at the Kent.
We recommend dressing with layers for comfort given our unpredictable climate and the unheated/un-ACed OWC (which many of you know has no restrooms but does have an outdoor porta-potty).
