Meeting at Rutland Intermediate School (65 Library Avenue)
Walking route includes: Chestnut Avenue, Williams Street, Lincoln Avenue, Roberts Avenue and Church Street
Join the Rutland City Planning Commission as they walk and talk about our City's neighborhoods, housing needs and proposed zoning changes.
• How did the neighborhood originally develop?
• How has it evolved?
• What types and densities of housing are found in the neighborhood?
• What do residents like about the neighborhood?
• What would residents like improved about the neighborhood?
• How will the neighborhood be affected by changes in state law related housing?
• What zoning changes are being considered for the neighborhood?

Anticipate walking for about an hour and then convening for a 30-minute wrap-up discussion at the starting venue. Wear suitable walking shoes and please be aware that some portions of the walk may be along streets without sidewalks. You are welcome to join for the entire walk, a portion of the walk or just the wrap-up meeting. In the event of heavy rain, we will simply hold the entire meeting indoors at the starting venue.
